You shot it.
I'll cut it.

Good cuts. Good audio.

Tell Me About Your Video

Sitting on hours of footage you'll never edit?

A fun trip. A birthday party. A bachelor party. It's all on a phone or a card somewhere. You've been meaning to edit it, but just haven't gotten there.

I can help. I'll find the moments that matter, cut out everything that doesn't, and give you back a short video, usually 5–10 minutes.

Recent cuts

Trip vlogs I shot and cut myself.

Family trip to Fayetteville, WV

Treehouse 2 hours outside Raleigh, NC

Two things, done well

Good cuts

Pacing that keeps moving, and jokes that land. Hours become 5–10 good minutes.

Good audio

You have to hear it to enjoy it. I'll fix the audio, and if I can't, I'll add subtitles.

How it works

Four steps. You mostly just watch.

1

We have a quick call.

Who's it for, how long should it be, and what are the moments that have to be in it? Fifteen minutes is usually enough.

2

Send me your footage.

Share a folder online, or mail me the drive or the cards. Phones, GoPros, cameras — whatever you shot on. You get everything back.

3

You watch the first cut.

Tell me what you love and what you'd change. One round of changes is included.

4

You get the finished video.

A high-quality MP4, ready to share or post. You also get the project file (Blender, which is free), so the edit is never locked away with me.

What it costs

Most projects run $500–1,500.

It depends on how much footage you have and how long the finished video should be.

Tell me what you've got and I'll send back a fixed price. No obligation, and nothing starts until you say so.

Tell me about your footage

A rough idea is plenty. It costs nothing to ask.

For example: "about 3 hours of iPhone and GoPro from a week in Colorado, want a 10-minute video for the family."
